Ms. Samantha Ellsworth 
Assistant Director and Infant Teacher

Hello! My name is Samantha Ellsworth. I am the infant teacher at First Church of God Early Enrichment Center. I am also the Assistant Director. I have a passion for working with infants and families. I have worked for First Church of God Early Enrichment Center for almost 6 years. I have worked as an Early Childhood Educator for approximately 8 years. I obtained my associate’s degree in child development through Fresno City College. I have my certificate in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I have worked with all different age groups, Infants to 5 years old. Along with my education in Child Development, I am certified in CPR and first aid. This journey that God has called me to do, is very exciting. I love working with children and watching them learn and grow. God has given me the gift to nurture young children and teach them about Jesus. I love what I do, and it is my true passion in life. God has blessed me with an amazing family. I have two amazing daughters; Lilly (18) and Aubrey (9), they are my world! I am truly blessed and thank God everyday for giving me the opportunity to work with your amazing children. I look forward to meeting you and building a partnership with you to provide the best care possible for your child.

Hello! My name is Ms. Sondra.

I have been working with children for almost nine years. My passion is for the infants and toddlers. I plan on continuing my education and receive my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Lisa Byers

Toddler Teacher

I was born and raised in the Central Valley.  I attended Fresno City College and Fresno Pacific University.  I have been working with children almost forty years and my passion is children and enriching their lives. They are always bringing insight to mine. 

I always have time to discuss your child's day with my parents.

My hobbies include playing softball, spending time with family, friends, pets, naps and netflix. Some of my favorite things are Mexican food and BBQ, Arizona Ice Tea and Snapple Zero, the color purple and Carnations.

Ms. Gissela Bogdon

My name is Teacher Gissela.  I'm very enthusiastic to be working with the Room 2  Precious Penguins.  As a preschool teacher, I'm committed to creating a safe, fun and nurturing environment for all my students to help them learn and grow.  I completed an Early Intervention Assistant Program and Family Child Care while working as a student aide at FCC Child Development Center with toddlers and preschoolers.  I have over seven years experience working with children in various educational settings.

I believe that every child has a unique personality and they all have their own way to learn and explore the environment as they grow.  My teaching method is play based as children learn the best when they are engaged and having fun.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, yoga and spending time with family and outdoors.  In the near future I plan to return to school to get my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education.  I've attended various childhood education workshops throughout my career and will continue to do so as opportunities arise.

I'm blessed to have a job that I truly enjoy and the opportunity to make a difference in your child's first educational experience.  I feel there is a higher purpose in caring for your children and guiding them to understand the world around them.
