Hello, My name is Mrs. April and I’m the two year old teacher at First Church of God Early Enrichment Center. I love teaching and have a passion for helping children grow and learn new skills. I have been teaching for 20 years. I have an Associates degree in child development. I am married and have two twin boys that are nine years old, which I adopted. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, taking out of town trips, drinking coffee, attending and helping at my church events. I also enjoy supporting my twin boys in their sports events and cheering them on. I am excited for this new school year and teaching the children new skills and helping them to grow and learn. “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6!

Teaching is my passion and feel I am understanding, patient and aware of how to talk to beginner students. During a lesson, I focus on the children's abilities and needs. Hello, I am from Southern California, and I love singing, dancing, cooking and spending time with my family. When I am relaxing, I like to take visits to the beach or watching movies. I have been teaching for more than thirty years and love seeing and helping children meet their full potential in the classroom. I went to El Camino College and completed ECE units.
